Old Key West Resort
Old Key West Resort

at Walt Disney World

As far as we are concerned, Old Key West is the perfect place to stay at WDW if you are staying more than a couple of days. I think that's the key (no pun). Too many people go to WDW and try to fit everything into a short period of time. Over the span of the last 10 years we have stayed in every size unit at OKW with the exception of a studio. We have had from 2 to 10 people in our party, and our stay has always been 12-14 days. The Grand Villas are fabulous! The amenities in all the units give you everything you could possibly need or want. Relax in peace and quiet on your back porch or nearby pool, or go to the Turtle Krawl area and the main pool to meet new friends and socialize. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoy our early morning walks to Olivia's Cafe or The Gurgling Suitcase for coffee. The buses run on schedule and we have found them to be very convenient. I remember one time our personal vehicle didn't move for five days. In summary, if you want to relax and have a great time doing the WDW experience, allow enough time and definitely consider Old Key West. For us it is the perfect resort.
